Meditation Coaching

What is Meditation Coaching?

Meditation coaching offers a quiet place to come back to yourself, to tend to what is already here in this moment with compassion and care. It can be especially supportive during mid-life, when so much of life is in transition.

In our time together, we slow the pace, listen inwardly, and explore what is arising with curiosity rather than judgement. Meditation provides a way of coming into the present moment; coaching offers gentle guidance and reflective questions that can facilitate the deepening of awareness and can provide insights that can sometimes only be heard once we get still.

Why Combine Meditation and Coaching?

Meditation helps you to cultivate awareness, presence, and connection to the body. Coaching helps you make sense of what you notice, and gently integrate it into daily life.

Together, they offer a practice that is:

• grounded in the present moment
• compassionate and non-judgmental
• supportive of nervous-system regulation
• oriented toward gentle growth

Instead of pushing for change, we create the conditions for growth to happen naturally, the way it does in a well-tended garden.

Who this practice is aimed at supporting

The meditation coaching I offer at Tended Living is specifically aimed at women who might be:

• moving through mid-life
• feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated
• re-imagining work or purpose
• caring for ageing parents or navigating changing family roles
• moving through grief, divorce, or loss
• longing for more presence and connection
• wanting to deepen your meditation practice with guidance
• learning to respond rather than react
• seeking a space that is thoughtful, calm, and not rushed

It is okay if you are not familiar with meditation or you don’t identify yourself with being someone who meditates. Curiosity is enough for you to begin.

What this is not

It is important to clarify that Meditation Coaching is a supportive, reflective practice. It is not therapy or should not be used in place of therapeutic support if this is what you might be seeking. Meditation Coaching is focused on present moment awareness and future oriented growth and is not designed to deal with past trauma or anything that might require a qualified therapist.

What to expect in a session

Each session begins by settling the mind and body, using simple grounding or meditation practices to support your nervous system and help you arrive inwards.

From there, we move into conversation. I offer coaching questions, reflections, and gentle invitations to dip in and out of meditative exercises throughout that help you notice what is present beneath the surface.

The pace is slow and responsive. You don’t need to come prepared, perform, or have the ‘right’ answers. We simply stay with what is here, together.
